Gullfoss waterfalls, Iceland, a majestic three stage waterfall which cascades in three directions finally dropping into a deep gorge at the start of the Hvita river, a total drop of 32 metres, the falls are surrounded by high hills and a wide valley, this massive flow of water estimated flow of 140 cubic metres a second is coming down from one of the many ice fields or glaciers, this waterfall is on a tour which is known as the Golden Circle

You can venture nearer the side of the falls, but if you do you will get wet from the amount of spray coming up from the cascade
