Giants Causeway

Situated in Northern Island, on the north cast, is the formation know as the Giants Causeway, this is a formation of Vulcanic rock that has formed into hexagonal columns, believed to have been caused when the molten lava, came into contact with the cold ocean, at the time of the eruption., in geological terms, the rocks in the formation go right across the Northern Irish sea and are visible on the coast of Scotland.
